A desperate mind seeking happiness
Moving freely is the dream in the dark
Without joy the eye watches the world
Only to find that the light in the dark is near
It seems as if this rare feeling is worth gold
Better to stay asleep then to stand naked in a crowd
But to hang just to run is a cowards thought
As said the feeling is gold and must be searched
Mind and energy used to search for it
Only to find a needing heart
But is this the end?
Note: You might have known that I won first in my school for a poem writing contest. Well after waiting for long I have gotten my poem back and here it is..ENJOY!!
